Instructor - Water Exercise YOS

 The Granite YMCA of the Seacoast is hiring for an enthusiastic, caring, dedicated, and energetic instructor to lead group exercise in the water. The Instructor is responsible for coaching a wide variety of aquatics exercise classes to a committed and regular population of our members who thoroughly enjoy the movement and socialization these classes bring.  If you're ready to bring your community together, help foster relationships and make a difference to others - then join our impactful team!  

Position Specifics: 

Monday, Wednesday and Thursday classes: 9:00-9:45am and 10:00-10:45am 

Tuesday and Friday classes: 10:00-10:45am 

These are all the classes that need an instructor but we're looking for at least two new instructors (or more) to split them.   

Responsibilities: 

Teach Water Exercise classes to a variety of ability groups Knows, understands, and consistently applies safety rules, policies and guidelines for the pool and aquatic area Responsible to keep certifications current Responsible for setting out and picking up equipment before and after class Support the lifeguard team in the event of an emergency

We are hosting an in person training to get all our water exercise instructors certified the weekend of June 21-22 in case someone wants to apply but isn't certified.
