We are a local family business that has been operating in the islands for 40 years and employ about 160 employees.  The Art Source, Inc. is the parent company to our three sister companies - Pictures Plus, Plus Interiors & CocoNene.  Our core competency as a business is local manufacturing of customizable products for the home: artwork, interior furniture & home decor.  We make all the products in our factory on the west side of Oahu in Kapolei and we sell to our customers through our various retail locations on Oahu, Maui and the Big Island. We are currently hiring for our CocoNene brand.  We sell island lifestyle home decor and personalized gifts and souvenirs. We are looking for a part-time Junior Visual Merchandiser to play an important support role in the execution of product/visual displays. Pay is $19-$20 per hour, plus incentive. Part time employees discount (25% across all sister brands). Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Works closely with Senior Visual Merchandiser to rollout floor set plans in all CocoNene locations.


• Partners with the store teams to execute all visual merchandising guide sets in store.
  


• Executes daily/weekly VM tasks as assigned by Senior Visual Merchandiser to include merchandising transitions, events & promotions, and others as assigned.


• Inspires guest engagement through compelling visual merchandising in all categories.


• Solves merchandising issues & adjusts sets to create & maintain inspiring presentations.


• May assist guests when in store.


• May work outside of store hours to accomplish visual merchandising changes.

Here is what we are looking for in candidates:

• Min 1 year visual merchandising experience


• Min 1 year retail experience


• Creative


• Solutions-oriented


• Reliable


• Proactive communication & follow through


• Adept with basic tools such as drills, ladders, and other tools needed for this job

Status and Schedule:

• 2-3 days per week


• Flexible to work more days during high peak time periods


• Remote position with ability to commute to Headquarters in Kapolei and our variety of retail locations on Oahu and the neighboring islands (Big Island and Maui)


• Must available to travel to neighbor islands to support holiday, new product launches, large floor set moves, and new store openings
