Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Tour Guide to join our team in Sunset Beach. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional outdoor experiences while promoting our lifestyle brand. As a Tour Guide, you will engage with guests, share your passion for adventure, and contribute to our mission of creating unforgettable memories.
Responsibilities: Leading guided kayak tours and SUP lessons, ensuring safety and enjoyment for all participants.
- Provide engaging commentary about local ecology and marine life.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance guest experiences.
- Assist in sales of merchandise and tour packages.
- Foster a welcoming environment that reflects our brand values.
- Collaborate with team members to improve tour offerings.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely departures and arrivals.
- Maintain equipment and ensure readiness for tours.
- Qualifications
Proven leadership skills with experience in guiding or teaching.
- Excellent public speaking abilities to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for outdoor activities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in adventure tourism is preferred but not required.

OUR STORY
Sharing the California lifestyle all over the globe
The Great Recession of 2008 was the best thing that ever happened to us. We lost all hope of finding a career out of college and ended up on the beach, unemployed. With nothing to lose, we took a leap of faith and started a small ocean adventure company.
That’s us, Chris Lynch and Michael Samer. Everyday California began as little more than a few kayaks, an old pick-up truck, and a few guys running discounted adventure tours, booking appointments in between cleaning gear and taking people out on the water.
After some success, we found a space to open up our first shop. It was just larger than 500 square feet and had a ton of, well, let’s call it “character.” But it was a start.
Since then, we’ve found a much larger space, expanded our brand into apparel and lifestyle products, and are living our original dream: to share the California lifestyle with everyone around the world.
To us, California is more than a place
From North to South, it stands for the massive forests full of towering Sequoias to rocky beaches with walking access only, from the tech giants in Silicon valley to mom-and-pop stores selling overstuffed sandwiches down the street from our shop.
