KCOM-Director Student Medical Education, Jefferson City

A.T. Still University's Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) is seeking a part-time, exempt Director of Student Medical Education.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• This position is primary faculty at core clinical training site responsible to supervise and direct the clinical education of KCOM third and fourth year medical students.
• This position is responsible to make decisions that will maximize the clinical experience for students as a whole, to manage emergent needs of clinical rotations and to coordinate the curriculum delivery within the region.
• The position performs as a mentor, educator and evaluator of KCOM core assigned medical students at the region.

• DO or MD degree required
• The individual in this position will be a problem solver, possess strong communication and technology skills.
• Leadership experience and Medical Education experience desired.
• Positive, Flexible, Compassionate, Interest in Education, Organized, Approachable.
