We are dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care to our animal patients. Our team values professionalism, empathy, and a collaborative spirit. We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part-Time Veterinary Kennel Assistant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Animal Care: Feed and provide fresh water to animals as directed by veterinary staff.
     
  • Exercise: Walk dogs to ensure they receive adequate exercise and bathroom breaks.
     
  • Sanitation: Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
     
  • Laundry: Wash and dry bedding, towels, and other laundry items used in animal care.
     
  • Facility Maintenance: Perform general housekeeping tasks throughout the clinic to ensure cleanliness and organization.
     
  • Animal Handling: Assist veterinarians and technicians by safely restraining animals during examinations and procedures.
     



Requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience working with animals is preferred but not required.  
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.  
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.  
  • Availability: Must be available for evening shifts Monday through Friday and morning shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.
