The Shift Leader will ensure that all store activities are carried out efficiently and productively. They will assist in directing the operation of the store in the absence of other store leadership, while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation. The Shift Leader is also responsible for handling issues with team members and guests directly then escalates them to the Store Manager/Assistant Manager when necessary.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Ensures efficient shift to shift operations through collaboration and coordination with other members of leadership.
Support store leadership by maintaining operations during your shift, communicating pertinent information, monitoring production efficiency, holding the team accountable to company standards and procedures, and assisting in the training and coaching of team members.
Trains new team members as needed.
Ensure that all food handling and production processes are followed according to company standards.
Provide leadership and guidance to the team members during the shift.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
Collaborate with other shift leaders and management to ensure smooth operations.
Manage cash handling and deposits and daily operational tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Completes all required management tasks.
Executes maintenance activities when needed.
Work both front and back of house shifts
Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.
Upsell menu items and promote special offers to increase sales.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
