Description

 King of Pops is looking for bright, capable pop slingers to engage customers while selling our handcrafted, all-natural pops from our trademark pushcarts under the rainbow umbrella.
Some of the locations and customers we bring Unexpected Moments of Happiness to include Delta, film shoots, Shaky Knees, Inman Park Festival, Piedmont Park, and more!

A successful Pop Slinger can communicate about the brand, our products and services, and assist with any questions in a timely manner while still providing great service and hospitality. You will be on the forefront of dealing with customers and serve effectively as the face of the brand.

To excel, you must be able to efficiently multitask while maintaining precision and providing great customer service. Resourcefulness and a self-starter mentality alongside attention to detail will contribute to great success in this role.

• Reports to: King of Pops Operations Manager
• Status: Part-time
• Compensation and benefits:
  • $13/hr plus tips

Principal Job Functions:

• Talk to customers while providing excellent service and hospitality
• Be proactive in pursuing sales from potential customers while on the cart
• Bring smiles, energy, and good vibes!
• Drive yourself and pops to events with company vehicle
• Follow checklists and procedures to ensure successful completion of shifts
• Ensure company equipment is maintained
• Be on time
• Take direction and be willing to be coached
• Ask questions
• Possess a “we, not me” attitude - we are a team at KOP

Requirements

 Education and Experience:

• No prior experience or education is required
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Able to stay on your feet for hours at a time
• Able to work outdoors/in the elements
• Nights & weekend availability non-negotiable
• Clean driving record preferred. Those unable to operate company vehicles due to not having a license or violations on driving record will be limited in their hours to accommodate being dropped off at events
• Enjoys interacting with customers and coworkers
• Come with an open mind, open heart, and a willingness to get sweaty and learn!
