Kitchen Dishwasher

Position Summary: Prep, wash and dry dishes in the kitchen.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:

1. Follow the direction of the kitchen supervisor
2. Wash all dishes applicable from the day
3. Assist kitchen staff with cleaning
4. Dry and replace dishes in organized fashion
5. Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
6. Perform other kitchen duties as assigned

Reporting Relationship:

1. Kitchen Supervisor

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain workers permit if still in school
• Ability to lift heavy items, ranging from 5 to 30 lbs, and handling knives, etc.
• Ability to comprehend and follow all company procedures and regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
• A courteous and efficient approach to handling customer requests, questions, and complaints.
• Bilingual a plus.

Work Environment:

• Store Climate can range, averaging 70-78 degrees, freezer and walk-ins low as 20 degrees.
• Moderate level noise.

Travel:

• No travel needed

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly stand, bend, twist, kneel, and crouch; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear
• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to stand and move for up to 8 hours per day

LIFTING: Average Weight: 5 lbs up to 30 lbs. Frequency: Daily
