LANDSCAPER/GROUDS WORKER

WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a part-time Landscaper and Grounds Worker. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our facility maintenance team in the maintenance and beautification around our 700-acre facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine landscaping tasks, including mowing, edging, trimming, and weeding.
• Plant, water, and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees according to seasonal needs.
• Sweep, rake, and remove debris from walkways, parking lots, and outdoor areas.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment, such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides as needed, following safety protocols and regulations.
• Assist in the construction of landscape features, such as retaining walls, pathways, and flower beds.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of landscaping storage areas and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Work Environment:

• This is a seasonal, non-exempt position.
• On-site position with time spent mostly outdoors.

Requirements

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Required:

• Must have experience weed eating and mowing grass.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. 
• Work 8 – 10-hour shifts Monday – Friday. 
• 30 hours per week. 

Working Additions:

• Work may involve bending, stooping, lifting heavy objects, and operating machinery in outdoor environments.
• Exposure to sun, heat, rain, and other outdoor elements is to be expected.
