PART-TIME WEEKENDS
Looking for a steady weekend role where you can stay active and make a meaningful difference? As a Laundry / Housekeeping Aide, you help create a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. Your work directly supports their comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
This is a hands-on position that keeps you moving and working as part of a supportive team.
Ensure a consistent supply of clean linens for resident care and comfort
Inspect linens and remove any items that are stained or in disrepair
Collect resident laundry daily or as needed
Label new residents’ clothing items when necessary
Sort, treat, wash, dry, and fold clothing and linens
Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms in a timely manner
Follow all sanitation and infection control procedures
Maintain inventory of laundry supplies
Safely operate industrial washers, dryers, and related equipment
Report any equipment concerns to the Administrator
This position does not include supervisory duties.
Education and Experience
GED or High School Diploma required
One year of experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
Ability to read and understand laundry and housekeeping procedures
Basic math skills
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to ask for assistance when needed
Ability to work independently while also being a dependable team member
No certifications required.
This is an active role that involves:
Standing, walking, lifting, and moving throughout the shift
Occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
Regular use of industrial washers, dryers, and housekeeping equipment
Frequent bending, reaching, and handling of linens
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
You will work in a clean, well-maintained healthcare environment. Noise levels are typically low to moderate.
