Laundry Attendant Part Time

The Best Western Plus Settlers Point has a position open in Laundry Part Time.

Starting pay $14.75 + DOE

Hours: 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (Flexibility Required)

Position reports to: Head of Housekeeping

Purpose/Goal: Provide the cleanest linens possible and maintain sanitary conditions of all laundry items.

Skills needed:

• Safe operation of all laundry equipment.

• Work well with others.

• Flexibility with hours of work.

• Punctuality and reliability.

• Proper dress and footwear.

• Ability to work long strenuous hours in a warm environment under pressure.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Efficient neat laundry folding skills.

• Ability to scrub laundry spots.

• Accurate sorting skills.

Task List:

• Load washers and use correct setting for the linens.

• Load dryers with the correct amount of linens.

• Use the correct Dryer temperature setting for different linens.

• Fold linens neatly and efficiently.

• Place laundry on shelves stacked neatly and in the right location.

• Keep laundry room clean and free from debris.

• Keep Dryer air filters clean and free of lint.

• Wash linens for both housekeeping and the Food & Beverage departments.

• Other tasks deemed necessary by management.

• Adhere to the policies and procedures in the Company Policy Handbook.
