Lawn Care and Groundskeeper

Position Title: Lawn Care and Groundskeeper
Responsible To: Facility Coordinator & Facility Deacon

Job Status: Part-Time, Seasonal (Approximately 15 hours per week)
Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver's license to operate lawn care equipment

Position Summary

The Lawn Care and Groundskeeper supports the mission and ministry of the church by maintaining the church grounds in a safe, attractive, and welcoming condition. This position ensures that outdoor areas reflect excellence and care, creating a positive environment for members, guests, and the community.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform lawn mowing and edging


• Operate riding mowers and push mowers


• Perform general grounds maintenance (weed control, trimming, debris removal, seasonal clean-up, etc.)


• Maintain equipment in a clean and working condition


• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures


• Complete other duties as assigned by the Facility Coordinator & Facility Deacon

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions


• Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and materials


• Must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver's license
  to operate lawn care equipment

This role plays an important part in maintaining a welcoming and well-cared-for campus that supports the ministry and outreach of the church.
