Before and After School Care Teacher

Job Summary:

Provide childcare to students before school starts at 7:00am-9:00am and after care from 3:00-6pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

-Follows and maintains knowledge of all childcare centers policies and procedures.
-Monitors students while in Before or After Care and assists with activities and/or homework.
-Prepare snacks that adhere to state guidelines.
-Follows prescribed daily schedule as outlined.
-Maintains safe environment at all times.
-Reports safety, sanitary and fire hazards immediately to the appropriate department.
-Attends work regularly and is punctual.
-Plan activities and lessons.

Qualifications:

-Central Background Registry
-18 years of age.
-One of the following:

- credits or training at a college or university

-a minimum of one year experience working with children.
-complete CPR and First Aid certificate within 90 days of employment.

Location: Placement sites are : Riddle Elementary, Lyons Elementary, Gardner Elementary, Post Oak Elementary and Forest View
Salary Range: $15-17.00/hr
Shift Type: Before Care 7:00am-9:00am & After Care 3:00pm-6:00pm
Extra Hours are available at the Main childcare center in Holt

Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
