Lead Server - Northwest Place

• Seeking Two Experienced Lead Servers for Upscale Independent Living Community in Northwest Neighborhood
• The anticipated wage range for this position is $19 - $20 / hour

Schedules:

• Position #1 - Friday Breakfast, Saturday and Sunday Breakfast through Lunch and Monday Dinner (21 Hours per Week)
• Position #2 - Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday Dinner (24 Hours per Week)

Northwest Place is an Independent Living Retirement Community in the Northwest Neighborhood of Portland and we have an opening for Two full time Lead Servers in our Cascade Dining Room for both Breakfast and Dinner shifts.

• Work closely with Dining Room Supervisor and Food Services Director to ensure that service standards and procedures are met
• Overseeing Team members and ensuring all side work and tasks are completed
• Assist in the set-up of tables and the seating of residents
• Present menus, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.
• Taking orders and delivering food to residents, Bussing and resetting tables
• Following daily sanitation cleaning schedules
• Maintaining a pleasant demeanor and demonstrate excellent communication skills

Some customer service experience helpful, but we train. Drug screening, physical, and background check.

Supervisory or lead serving experience is preferred.
