Position Summary
As a Learning Center Assistant, you’ll play a dynamic and meaningful role in supporting both the operations and instructional team at Mathnasium. This role combines administrative responsibilities, customer service, and math knowledge to ensure every family has a positive experience with us. You will be the welcoming face of our center, help manage day-to-day activities, and assist in preparing students and instructors for successful sessions.

Primary Responsibilities

Center Operations: Assist with daily operational tasks including preparing student materials, managing attendance, and supporting scheduling needs.

Customer Service: Greet students and parents warmly, answer questions, and provide timely and thoughtful communication.

Instructional Support: Collaborate with instructors by preparing teaching resources, organizing assessments, and generating progress reports for families.

Relationship Building: Develop positive, professional relationships with families, ensuring their concerns are addressed and their Mathnasium experience is excellent.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with instructors, lead instructors, and center management to maintain smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

Math Proficiency: Strong knowledge of algebra and core math concepts is required.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Interpersonal Skills: Positive, collaborative, and able to build trust with both students and parents.

Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.

Growth Mindset: Willingness to learn, take on new responsibilities, and support the success of the center.

Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
