Job Description - Legal Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Part-Time Legal Assistant to join our firm. In this role, you will provide assistance to attorneys and senior paralegals, ensuring they are able to carry out their duties. You will communicate with attorneys and client, draft correspondence and legal pleadings. The ideal candidate is hardworking and detailed oriented.

Responsibilities Include

· Communicate with clients and attorneys

· Prepare case-specific documents, including memoranda and briefs

· Ensure the case-related documents are well organized and available for review

· Maintain and update documentation

· Provide general administrative support

Qualifications

· Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role is preferred

· Familiarity with legal procedures, terminology, and the court system

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Highly organized with document management experience

· Comfortable with Microsoft Office and case management software

· Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

Salary commensurate with experience.
