Licensed Dental Assistant - Casual/Per Diem

Pay: Up to $53/hour depending on experience!

Location: Various dental locations all throughout the Twin Cities Metro area.

Schedule: Casual/per diem shifts available during dayshift/clinical hours M-F.

Job Summary:

Support dentists during clinical procedures to ensure high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include preparing and organizing tools, sterilizing equipment, assisting during exams and treatments, taking and developing dental X-rays, maintaining patient records, and providing post-operative instructions. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of dental procedures and hygiene protocols. Dental Assistants play a key role in creating a comfortable and efficient environment for both patients and the dental team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist dentists during dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, and surgeries.


• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.


• Take and develop dental X-rays.


• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.


• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.


• Maintain accurate patient records.


• Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow.


• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Completion of an accredited dental assistant program required


• Current MN State Dental Assistant License.


• CPR Certification.


• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
