Licensed Mental Health Consultant (Part-Time Consultant|$50/hr)

Salary Range: $50 hr  (20–40 hours/week, based on workload)

Schedule:  On-site 2 days/week (8:30 AM–3:30 PM) + flexible hours for meetings, documentation, and consultation  

United Way Miami is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Consultant to support children, families, and staff in our Early Head Start – Child Care Partnership (EHS-CCP) program 

Key Duties:

• Conduct classroom observations and support social-emotional development
   
• Guide staff on screenings (ASQ:SE, DECA) and individualized plans
   
• Consult with families and teachers on behavioral and developmental concerns
   
• Participate in child reviews, parent meetings, and trainings
   
• Document services and interventions in ChildPlus
   
• Support referrals, service coordination, and community engagement

Requirements

• Active Licensed Mental Health Professional (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent)
   
• Specialized experience in infant and early childhood mental health
   
• Deep understanding of early childhood development, trauma-informed care, and family-centered practices
   
• Familiarity with tools like ASQ:SE, DECA, PSI, and ChildPlus
   
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaborative skills
