Lifeguard $18.00 per hour

The YMCA of Broome County is seeking highly skilled and responsible lifeguards to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all swimmers and enforcing pool rules and regulations. The lifeguard will also be responsible for responding to emergencies and providing first aid when necessary. 

Responsibilities:

- Monitor swimmers and ensure their safety at all times

- Enforce pool rules and regulations

- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary

- Maintain a clean and safe pool environment

- Communicate effectively with members and staff

- Attend regular training sessions and stay up-to-date on lifeguarding techniques and procedures

Pay: 

$18.00 per hour

Shifts:

Varying hours Monday-Saturday
