Lifeguard (Part-Time)

Are you a strong swimmer? Do you enjoy being able to provide supervision and safety for youth, adults, and families in a pool environment? If so, the YMCA of Central Massachusetts, Boroughs Family Branch is looking for you to join our amazing Aquatics team!

**Lifeguard Certification is required; however, we offer lifeguard certification courses, and reach out to students in the course about job opportunities. Candidates must successfully complete and pass the lifeguarding course prior to being hired for the position. Job Duties:

• Provide supervision for the pool and surrounding areas
• Maintain the pool and surrounding area, ensuring that is safe for all YMCA members
• Document and report any safety concerns or broken equipment in the pool and surrounding areas
• Attend all staff trainings and maintain appropriate certifications for the position
• Other duties as assigned by the Aquatics Director

Job Requirements:

• Must be currently lifeguard certified and able to present lifeguard certification
• Must be at least 16 years old

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour. Plus, access to YMCA facilities for all YMCA employees, Employee Assistance Program, and Sick Leave
