Lifeguard (Summer 2026)

University City Housing is seeking Lifeguards for this season for our busy apartment communities!

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have LIFEGUARD/FIRST AID/CPR/AED CERTIFICATION
• Must have or be willing to complete PA Clearances 
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Swimming endurance and stamina
• Adequate hand-eye coordination
• Ability to tread water without using arms for 1 minute
• Ability to carry, lift and swim with objects up to 50 pounds or heavier

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the pool and pool deck
• Insuring the safety of our residents and guests at the pool
• Enforce all company policies of our three pools and pool areas
• Complete daily and hour logs of chemical readings of the pools
• Inspect the facility and area to ensure that any unsafe conditions are reported
