We're proud of our achievements, including over 1,800 wine scores with 90+ points and recognition from the prestigious "Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotisseurs." 107 Bistro & Wine Bar  (107) at Testarossa Winery is open Wednesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, with brunch on Sundays, located on a charming historic patio surrounded by lush forest, offering a unique outdoor dining experience for guests and club members.

What the 107 Line Cook does

As a Line Cook, you’ll execute salads, entrees, appetizers and desserts based on the design of the Executive Chef. Working in our mobile food facility at 107 Bistro & Wine Bar at Testarossa Winery in Los Gatos, the day to day may include: 

  • Preparing menu items at our off-site kitchen and assisting with other culinary tasks
  • Executing menu items at the winery including plating of salad, entrees, appetizers and desserts and buffet items based on the design of the Chef de Cuisine
  • Setting up, breaking down and cleaning, including food transport from catering van
  • Organizing, rotating, and assessing inventory levels of food storage areas 
  • Working efficiently in a face-paced environment

Requirements

  • 1+ year of kitchen experience or equivalent culinary education
  • ServSafe and/or California Food Handlers Certification
  • Safe knife skills 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, be proactive, have a sense of urgency, a positive attitude and effective communication

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Must be available 3 days/week between Wednesday - Sunday
  • Walk, stand, bend, kneel, and reach frequently for the duration of the shift 
  • Lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Handles sharp and hot tools regularly
  • Frequently utilizes cleaning chemicals
  • Drive to/from the offsite kitchen in San Jose to the Winery in Los Gatos, as needed
