We are currently seeking a skilled, engaging Omelet Chef to join our team and represent the NIBLL brand at a live action station during home games and special events.
Position Overview:
As a Live Action Station Omelet Chef, you will be the face of our kitchen team during service, preparing customized omelets and egg dishes in real time for VIP guests and team partners. This is a high-visibility, high-interaction role that demands excellent culinary skills and an outgoing, service-oriented personality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook made-to-order omelets and breakfast items at a live action station within the arena’s premium hospitality spaces.
- Deliver friendly, professional service while interacting with VIP guests, suite holders, and fans.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards at all times.
- Set up, stock, and break down the omelet station before and after each shift.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient cooking environment during live service.
- Collaborate with the NIBLL kitchen team on prep, portioning, and clean-up as needed.
- Uphold NIBLL’s standards of excellence and represent our brand with professionalism and pride.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of professional culinary experience; action station or live cooking preferred.
- Strong skills in egg cookery, mise en place, and guest interaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in fast-paced settings.
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays tied to the hockey season schedule.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Current ServSafe or Food Handler certification preferred.
