Louie's Bartender

Join our team! Club Louie’s strives to give each and every guest an unforgettable experience, and we need YOU to help achieve that! We are currently hiring a Part-Time Bartender! This position calls for extremely outgoing, professional, and charismatic individuals. We are looking for a bartender who can easily take care of a large variety of guests. Similar experience is a huge plus!

Availability: Weekends (Fri-Sun) mandatory; Evening availability

Compensation: $16.50 per hour + tips

General Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve guests at the bar
• Pour drinks using standard pour specifications
• Handle cash and credit card transactions
• Clean and stock bar daily
• Record accurate tip out sheets daily
• May assist with cleaning of operational areas
• May assist staff in serving tables

Requirements

Desired Skills and Experiences:

• 2-3 years of experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or upscale lounge environment
• Must have a valid California Food Handler’s Card
• Must have thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, preparation methods, glassware, equipment, and service
• Must have current knowledge of legal aspects of alcoholic beverage service (TIPS Certified or ability to obtain certification)
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings

• Fast-paced mobility for extended periods of time
