Job Summary

We are seeking a Geriatric Nurse to join our team! As a Geriatric Documentation Nurse, you will be responsible for documenting in client's charts. Monthly assessments. Making sure charts are in order per State requirements. Must have good communication skills. You will also work closely with the RN Administrator. The ideal candidate has experience working with an older population, has all the required licensing in the state, and works well independently as well as within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Assessing clients and documenting monthly assessments

Work with other disciplines such as activity director and cooking staff

Being a positive, supportive presence to our aging patients

Qualifications

Active, valid nursing license within the state

Experience working with an aging population desired

Comfortability working independently and within a team

The ability to multitask and work well under pressure

Must have good documentation skills and computer skills

Compensation: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Alice’s Place Adult Day Care is a fully licensed and insured adult day care and all of our employees are extremely understanding, skilled, and experienced in caring for the elderly. Our center is managed by a Registered Nurse/Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with more than 33 years of geriatric experience.
