Job Description - Lpn- Prn/Part Time

Monitoring and reporting:
Monitor patients' health status and report any changes or concerns to RNs or doctors.
Observe and record patient reactions to medications and treatments.
Collect specimens, such as blood and urine, for lab testing.

Communication and education:
Explain procedures and care plans to patients and their families.
Communicate with patients and their families to address concerns and provide support.
Ensure patients and families understand discharge instructions.

Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts and records.
Document patient care, vital signs, and observations in a timely manner.

Team collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team.
Supervise and provide guidance to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other support staff.

Patient care:
Administer prescribed medications and injections.
Perform wound care, including changing dressings and applying compresses.
Assist patients with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
Change and administer catheters.
Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
