Bosak is currently looking for a Lube Technician for our Ford Store

Responsibilities:

• The Lube Technician is responsible for ensuring customer receives complete service to his/her vehicle in a timely and professional manner and to maintain a pleasant and safe environment for customers.
• Provide services to customers following procedures and standards as outlined by management for Express Lane and ancillary services.
• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Documents all work performed on the repair order.
• Assist customers in making correct decisions for preventive maintenance needs. Make recommendations to customers, explaining additional services based on manufacturer’s recommendations
• Drains oil and replace filters. Inspects vehicle fluid levels, replaces or replenishes as necessary. Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed. Clean vehicle for customer.
• Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were received. Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor
• Understand and comply with OSHA and EPA standards. Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner. Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
• Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs as assigned by service manager. Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
• Clean facility as directed to maintain the cleanliness and general repair of the shop and property.
• Other duties as requested or assigned.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Driver's License
