Lubrication Technician, Maintenance - Part Time

Premier Aluminum is looking for a part time Lubrication Technician to assist maintenance by supporting the overall production process through machine maintenance.  This position will be responsible for the maintenance and lubrication of machinery, to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.  This position will also work to ensure a safe and organized work environment.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Lubricate moving parts, 
• Manage lubricant storage and handling
• Maintain lubricant quality by managing contamination control and follow established procedures
• Perform regular oil changes and replenish fluids as needed
• Inspect machinery for signs of wear, damage or lubrication-related issues
• Troubleshoot lubrication-related issues
• Maintain accurate records of lubrication tasks, inspections and any issues discovered

• Basic understanding of lubrication principles, different types of lubricants and their applications
• Mechanical aptitude - ability to work with machinery
• Ability to follow  written and/or verbal work instructions from supervisors and experienced machinists  
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervision
• Ability to work independently, and reliably - completing tasks as assigned without direct supervision
