Lunchroom Monitor 2025-2026 School Year

We are seeking a reliable and friendly lunch monitor to supervise students from elementary to secondary during lunchtime. As a lunch monitor, you will be responsible for ensuring that students are safe, following school rules, and eating in a clean environment.

 This is a part-time position from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday - Friday when school is in session. 

Responsibilities:

- Monitor the behavior of elementary school children while in the dining hall

- Assist children who need help with their meals

- Assist with the arrival and dismissal of students

- Clean tables, chairs, and floors to maintain a safe and clean environment

- Report any issues or concerns to the Director of Food Services

Requirements:

- A friendly and welcoming demeanor toward children

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to work with diverse groups of people

- Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment

- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations

This is a part-time position from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday - Friday when school is in session.
