Maintenance Assistant

Arlington Residence and Rehabilitation Center – Arlington, TX

Job Type: Part-Time (24hrs per week)
Schedule: Day Shift (some on-call availability may be required)

Job Summary
Arlington Residence and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with general building maintenance and strong skills in painting and drywall repair.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility

  
  


• 
  

  Complete drywall repairs, patching, and painting projects as needed

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with preventative maintenance tasks

  
  


• 
  

  Repair basic plumbing, electrical fixtures, and facility equipment when needed

  
  


• 
  

  Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure building safety standards are maintained

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with room turnovers and general facility upkeep

  
  


• 
  

  Work with the maintenance team to keep the facility in good working condition

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Experience in facility or building maintenance strongly preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Painting and drywall repair skills required

  
  


• 
  

  Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repair work

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

  
  


• 
  

  Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

  
  


• 
  

  Long-term care or healthcare facility experience is a plus
