We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Maintenance Assistant to help us provide the outstanding customer service and care that the Symphony Network is known for. **Job Summary:**  

The Maintenance Assistant is responsible for taking direction from the Maintenance Supervisor in the general maintenance and repair of the building and grounds. This position collaborates with other members of the maintenance team to ensure the facility remains clean and free of hazards. The Maintenance Assistant reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.  

**Essential Functions:**  

- Regularly inspect the facility to ensure that the grounds, building, and equipment are maintained under facility policies and procedures.  

- Perform routine maintenance and repair on the building and equipment, including plastering and mechanical repairs.  

- Maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment safely and efficiently, following current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.  

- Assist in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment.  

- Conduct all-season maintenance on the grounds, with various outdoor duties required depending on the time of year.  

**Employment Requirements:**  

- At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance position or department.  

- Experience in a healthcare facility is advantageous but not required.  

- Must be reliable and punctual.  

• - Ability to work on-call every other weekend.
