Job Description: Maintenance Technician

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, and performing routine maintenance tasks. The ability to lift up to 75 pounds is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.


• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues in a timely manner.


• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.


• Perform installations, repairs, and adjustments on various mechanical and electrical systems.


• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.


• Collaborate with other team members to enhance operational efficiency.


• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.


• Assist in the training of new staff on equipment maintenance procedures.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.


• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.


• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.


• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.


• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus.


• Availability to work part-time 30hrs a week
