Maintenance Technician (Part-Time)

Introductory Position with Growth Opportunities

Working under general direction, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient production environment. This role supports the Production Specialists by ensuring that the shop, tools, and equipment are maintained in good condition. The Maintenance Technician may also assist with basic sign-making tasks under supervision. This is an introductory part-time position with strong potential for growth within the company for individuals who demonstrate initiative, reliability, and strong performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• 
  

  Cleans and organizes the shop area, including work surfaces, floors, tools, and storage spaces

  Assists in maintaining an orderly workflow for the production team

  
  


• 
  

  Helps unload and store raw materials, keeping stock areas tidy and accessible

  
  


• 
  

  Performs routine cleaning and light maintenance on equipment as directed

  
  


• 
  

  Disposes of scrap and waste materials appropriately to maintain a safe and efficient shop environment

  
  


• 
  

  Supports Production Specialists with entry-level sign-making tasks (such as preparing substrates, basic assembly, or assisting in setup) when needed

  
  


• 
  

  Follows all company policies, safety protocols, and procedures

  
  


• 
  

  Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the production team and other staff

  
  


• 
  

  Performs other duties as assigned

  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  

  High school diploma or GED preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with general direction

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization

  
  


• 
  

  Able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, and standing for long periods

  
  


• 
  

  Basic mechanical or maintenance skills a plus

  
  


• 
  

  Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities over time

  Positive attitude and ability to contribute to a team environment
