About the Role:

Join Tradition Home Health Care as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients in Brooklyn, NY. We are passionate about providing compassionate and personalized care, and we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team!

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.

Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

Document and report any changes in clients' conditions to the nursing staff.

Assist with meal preparation and nutritional support.

Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.

Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

Valid Home Health Aide certification in New York State.

Previous experience in home health care or a related field preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to client care.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliable transportation and flexibility in scheduling.

Basic understanding of medical terminology and health care practices.

Background check and references required.

Compensation: $19.10 - $22.00 per hour
