NY Kids Club is a leading provider of early childhood education and private enrichment classes committed to physical, intellectual, and social experiences for children from 8 weeks to 12 years old. Through innovative classes, creative camps, one-of-a-kind birthday celebrations and events, our approach inspires each child’s inherent love of learning in a fun and energetic environment.

Blending strategic thinking and vision with collaboration and execution, the part-time Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in helping grow brand awareness, engagement, and enrollment at NY Kids Club & NY Preschool. This role will be responsible for day-to-day execution of key marketing tools and projects that support enrollment in our preschool and early childhood enrichment programs. This is a hybrid position based in New York, NY.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Development

  • Collaborate and execute on a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with NY Kids Club's mission and values.
  • Assist in branding development efforts to differentiate NY Kids Club in the market.

Multichannel Marketing

  • Support traditional and digital marketing initiatives, including organic social media, email marketing, paid social media, paid search advertising, content marketing, and more.
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, and loyalty through targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints, driving brand awareness.

Community Engagement and Localization

  • Establish partnerships and community outreach programs to strengthen local ties and enhance brand visibility.
  • Leverage localized marketing strategies to reach target demographics.
  • Develop a deep understanding of NYC’s diverse neighborhoods and communities to tailor marketing efforts effectively.

Marketing Communications

  • Support internal and external communications efforts to convey the brand’s messaging and values.
  • Assist in developing compelling marketing collateral, including brochures, postcards, posters, and promotional materials.
  • Support public relations and media relations activities.

Employer Branding

  • Collaborate closely with the People team to cultivate NY Kids Club’s image as an employer of choice within the education and childcare sector.
  • Ensure seamless alignment between recruitment initiatives and branding efforts.

Requirements

This job is for you if:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience managing organic social media channels—from developing strategy to content creation and execution.
  • Hands-on experience with paid social (Meta) and paid search (Google) advertising campaigns.
  • Skilled in developing marketing materials, including both print and digital ads.
  • Highly organized, results-driven, and able to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic early childhood environment.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to work independently, accept feedback, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Experience with lead generation ads and lead nurturing campaigns.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva.
  • Familiarity with photography, videography, and coordinating photo/video shoots.
  • Background in early childhood education or experience working with children or family-focused content.

Pay rate is $28-$36 per hour

Physical Demands:

The role involves standing, walking, sitting, constant movement, and occasional climbing. The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds is required. Specific sensory abilities include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjustment of focus.
