We have 2 part-time positions for Massage Therapists to fill at our Highland Park and Morton Grove locations!

• Highland Park: 20-25 hours weekly
• Morton Grove: 12-20 hours weekly

Job Summary

Provide high quality manual therapy and clinical massage work to a diverse clientele including orthopedic patients, athletes, and general clients. In accordance with Health Performance Institutes integrative care model, this position will also be responsible for working, communicating, and collaborating with multi disciplinary teams. 

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest quality care to all clients and patients 
• Develop appropriate treatment plans based on individual needs of the client 
• Documentation of every session using the S.O.A.P note format 
• Communicate with patient’s physician or physical therapist on their manual therapy progress. 5. Maintain and file client’s charts 
• Develop positive professional relationships with the staff of HPI and the physicians, rehab & sport medicine teams of IBJI 
• Maintain an active state license by earning appropriate CEU’s 
• Build a clientele of 15-20 clients: through creative marketing ideas, promoting packages and other services offered at HPI 
• Able to promote health and wellness to our patient’s & client’s 
• Take an active role in client’s care which may include making appropriate referrals to physicians and or other HPI clinicians 
• Participation in various programs sponsored by IBJI may be required  
• All other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

• Must adhere to the state licensing laws and have an Illinois State License 
• Must possess liability insurance 
• Minimum of 5 years massage experience 
• Must possess exceptional customer service and communication skills 
• Ability to work and adapt to an always changing growing environment 
• Ability to work at up to 20 hours per week, including evenings and/or weekends 
• Ability to communicate instructions using clear and simple language  
• Ability to physically demonstrate an activity by breaking the task down into a sequence  
• While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills and relevant experience.
