We are seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our event medical and wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various massage techniques and a passion for helping patients achieve optimal health and relaxation. You will work closely with our staff and medical professionals to provide therapeutic massage treatments tailored to individual patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Travel to wellness events in New York and/or New Jersey.
• Perform chair massages.
• Assess patients’ conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure proper patient care.
• Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care practices.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients.
• Stay updated with the latest massage therapy techniques and industry trends.
Qualifications
• Certified Massage Therapist with a valid NY and/or NJ state license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or medical office setting.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
