Math Tutor -part time

West Oak Lane Charter School is looking for a Math Tutor

Job Type – Part-Time – Flexible Hours

We are looking for part-time math tutor for our students in grades K-8th for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. Tutors will be required to support small group instruction and intervention and administer one-on-one assessments. Must be comfortable and knowledgeable up to at least 6th grade math level. Hours are flexible. No more than 30 hrs. a week. Applicants need to be available at least 2 days a week. Hours of instruction will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, flexible between 8:00am and 3:00pm.

Applicants must have reliable transportation, current clearances, at least an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree in education, a bachelor’s degree and PA certification in Elementary Education, Special Education, Grades 4-8 Mathematics, or Mathematics 7-12 preferred.

Applicants are required to be reliable, organized, enthusiastic, and interested in working with younger students.

Retired teachers and students enrolled in education programs are encouraged to apply.

Hourly rates range up to $40 hr. - based on degree and experience.
