Job Title: Memory Care Life Enrichment Assistant

Job Type: Part-time position including some weekends

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the organizing, supervising, and implementing therapeutic activities designed to meet the specific and individual needs of the Memory Care residents. As a Memory Care Life Enrichment Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of our residents.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning and implementing therapeutic activities for Memory Care residents

- Provide individual and group activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being

- Encourage resident participation in activities and events

- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment for residents

- Document resident participation and progress in activities

- Communicate with other staff members to ensure the needs of residents are being met

- Attend training and meetings as required

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Experience working with Memory Care residents preferred

- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Compassionate and patient demeanor

- Ability to maintain confidentiality

- Must be able to pass a background check
