Job Title: Part-Time Activities Assistant - Memory Care Department

Location: Silver Creek Assisted Living

Hours Expected:  Every other weekend from 10 am to 6 pm and every Monday from 4 pm to 8 pm 

Job Summary:

Silver Creek Assisted Living is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Activities Assistant to join our Memory Care Department. The ideal candidate will be flexible and expected to work rotating weekends from 10a-6p and every Monday from 4p-8p.

Key Responsibilities:

- Planning and implementing engaging activities for residents in the memory care unit.

- Support residents in participating in activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.

- Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents and their families.

- Collaborate with the memory care team to ensure activities are tailored to the needs and preferences of residents.

- Maintain a safe and clean environment during activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a caregiving or activities role, preferably in a memory care or assisted living setting.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to changing schedules.

- Compassionate and patient demeanor, with a genuine interest in enhancing the quality of life for residents.
