ME Technician - 2nd shift

• Maximize uptimes on all secondary equipment with the objective of reducing and eliminating downtime.

• Must ensure all safety features are functioning properly.

• Perform characterization on specific product, as identified and developed.

• Must respond to all Quality and Operator issues regarding parts and manufacturing methods

• Maintain a neat and clean environment at all times.

• Identify maintenance concerns and issues and work to assist with resolution.

• Must assist in training new Manufacturing Engineering Technicians, and production operators when required.

• Must perform other duties, as required by the Lead ME.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency; and 3-5 years’ experience in troubleshooting injection molding.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

• Revere Plastics Systems Orientation

• Forklift Training

• Injection Molding Class

• Lock Out/Tag Out Training

• SPC Training

• Sexual Harassment

• Understanding of Gemba Board Data

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a valid forklift license.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/TASKS/ABILITIES:

• Must have good attendance habits that exceed current policy.

• Must be willing to stay current with technology through continuing education.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

• Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.

• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts.

• Noise level in the work environment is moderate.
