Med Surg, Registered Nurse | Part-Time, PRN

Description

The Medical Surgical, Labor Delivery, Post-Partum and Nursery Unit Registered Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical/surgical, obstetrics and newborn setting. The registered nurse communicates with physicians, nurse manager, and co-workers as appropriate regarding changes in the patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomology. The nurse must respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, the nurse must perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license within the state of Idaho.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Current ACLS certification within six (6) month of hire.
• PALS certification within six (6) months of hire.
• NRP certification within nine (9) months of hire.
• Labor and delivery course recommended within eighteen (18) months of hire if no previous L&D experience reported.
• Fetal Heart Monitoring withing eighteen (18) months of hire.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, basic math and computer skills.
• Bilingual Preferred
