Job Description - Medical Administrative Assistant

Title: Medical Administrative Assistant
Location: Rockville, MD
Type: TTH
Start: ASAP
Pay: $25-$30/hr
Hours: 20 hours/ week, 9:30am-4:00pm Mon, Tues, and Fri

Position Description: This position serves as a Medical Administrative Assistant within a private practice with responsibilities that include:

Managing telephone calls
Making appointments
Maintaining schedule
Paperwork maintenance
Greet patients
Collect payments
Manage billing

Required Skills

4 years of experience in a medical office setting
8 total years of professional experience
Medical office experience
Familiarity with HIPAA laws
Must be able to multitask
Must maintain a calm and positive demeanor

Preferred Experience:

Bilingual Spanish-English
