Gregory and Vanessa Sturz have proudly served the greater Richmond community for over 20 years. Gregory holds a PhD in cardiovascular physiology from VCU, a medical degree from VCOM, and a bachelor’s degree from VMI, where he played on the football team as an offensive lineman. He has served as the medical director of the pediatric emergency room at Chippenham Hospital and, for the past three years, has been involved in a grant initiative to improve mental health care access for Virginia’s pediatric population.
Vanessa earned her master’s in clinical research from the University of Virginia, where she taught and conducted research before pursuing dental school at VCU. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Randolph-Macon Women’s College, where she was a member of the swim team. In 2024, she was voted “Top Doc” by Richmond Magazine. Vanessa currently practices as a general dentist in the greater Richmond area.
