Medical Assistant - Podiatry (Fridays ONLY)

We’re looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our podiatry team in long-term care facilities across New Orleans and Baton Rouge. This part-time role is perfect for someone who wants to make an impact without committing to a full-time schedule.

What You’ll Do (Every Friday):

• Travel with our podiatrist to nursing homes and set up the clinic
• Check in with facility staff and prep the schedule
• Escort residents to and from the exam area
• Assist with foot exams (removing shoes/socks, prepping patients)
• Help with chart updates and basic admin tasks
• Drive up to 2 hours each way (lodging/meals provided for longer trips)

Location & Schedule:

• Fridays only – 1 day/week
• Covers New Orleans & Baton Rouge area (up to 3-hour radius)
• Mileage reimbursement + paid drive time

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in caregiving or nursing home settings (a plus!)
• Valid Driver’s License (clean record)
• Ability to push/pull up to 200 lbs in a wheelchair
