Job Description

Insynch Health is seeking a licensed Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) in the Houston, Texas area to serve as Medical Director in a supervisory capacity only, in accordance with Texas Medical Board (TMB) regulations for Advanced Practice Provider (APP) oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise up to 7 full-time equivalent APPs (Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants) with prescriptive authority
• Perform monthly chart reviews for each supervised APP (remote review acceptable per TMB guidelines)
• Be available for clinical questions and collaboration via phone or text (estimated 4–8 hours/week)
• Participate in provider development and support quality and compliance initiatives

This part-time position is ideal for a retired or semi-retired physician seeking a flexible schedule and the opportunity to mentor mid-level providers within a high-performing, collaborative environment.

Requirements:

• Must reside in Houston, Texas, with the ability to visit Sugar Land and Clear Lake locations if needed
• Texas Medical Board certification in Psychiatry, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
• Active, unrestricted Texas medical license and DEA registration
• Previous supervisory experience with APPs is preferred
