Medical Laboratory Technician - PRN All Shifts Ardmore, Oklahoma New Hospital

Exceptional Healthcare is seeking Medical Lab Technicians to join its team in Ardmore, OKC

Job Duties:  

• Areas of testing include: hematology, chemistry, coagulation, immunoassay, urinalysis, point of care, and blood banking. 
• Uses automated equipment and specialized instrumentation to prepare samples for analysis to aid the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases
• Manages daily workload within the department to ensure patient testing is completed timely
• Reviews quality control results prior to reporting patient results and taking corrective action when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements: 

• Must have an Associate's degree in medical technology, chemistry, physical or biological science. 
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• ASCP certified or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of hospital laboratory experience
• Knowledge of hospital laboratory practices, including infection control requirements, chemical and biological hazards
• Knowledge of governmental and regulating policies and standards
