Medical Receptionist and Optometric Technican positions available for our busy Optometry office located in Brick NJ
We are looking for an energetic, self motivated individual who enjoys working with patients for part of our office team.
Part time about 20-25 hours a week
Front Desk responsibbilities include patient check in and out, confirming appointments, answering phones, working on EHR, verifying and submitting insurnaces, scanning any paper coorespondence, follow up with insurnce companies regarding claims
Optometric Technician responsibilities include pretesting patients, data entry for medical records program, contact lens classes and digital images.

Dr. Debbie Field graduated with honors from Temple University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Salus University. Her clinical training included ocular disease and management at Hahnemann Medical Center in Philadelphia, contact lens care at Irving Gurwood, OD in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, The Eye Institute with Drs. Silbert and Spinelli, and Pediatrics and The Eye Institute in Philadelphia. As a member of the Gold Key Honor society, she performed home eye care visits to residents in the Philadelphia area.
After graduating, Dr. Field moved to New Jersey where she started her practice in Brick. In addition to prescribing glasses and contact lenses, she excels in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases that affect the eye such as diabetes, hypertension and autoimmune disease. She treats eye infections, dry eye, glaucoma, and removes ocular foreign bodies and follows patients with macular degeneration.
