Medication Nurse (LVN/LPN)

Waters Edge Lodge is currently seeking a PM Shift Medication Nurse to join our esteemed Nursing Team.

Compensation: $32.75 per hour, paid bi-weekly

Role Description:

The Medication Nurse at Waters Edge Lodge plays a crucial role in monitoring care plans, wound care, diabetic management, medication management, and overall care supervision. This is a part-time position working a 2-on, 4-off rotation on the PM Shift (2:30pm-11:00pm). For the right candidate it may be combined with an open part-time position at our sister facility, Elders Inn, to make a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor care plans


• Provide wound care


• Manage diabetic care


• Administer medications


• Supervise overall care

Requirements:

• Current, valid CA nursing license


• Minimum of 12 months experience or equivalent education in the healthcare field


• Ability to communicate clearly with elderly residents


• Ability to work compassionately with individuals with cognitive impairments
