Medi-Weightloss Hiring Part-Time Medical Receptionist Signing Bonus

We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Receptionist to join our growing Noblesville Medi-Weightloss® team of medical professionals in an upscale medical office concentrating on preventative medicine, nutritional guidance, and obesity medicine. Working in partnership with our medical staff, our Medical Receptionist is responsible for the administrative duties of the practice, addressing the needs of existing and potential patients and clients as well as clinic and medical staff.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Greet patients as they arrive for their appointments, ensure a positive and welcoming experience
  


• Check patients in, notify medical staff of patient arrivals
  


• Check patients out, collect payments
  


• Schedule patient appointments
  


• Open and close clinic
  


• Use multi-line phone system to answer and route incoming calls to the appropriate staff member
  


• Monitor the clinic voicemail and text line for patient messages throughout the day, respond in a timely manner
  


• Review patients’ insurance coverage, provide estimated out of pocket costs
  


• Follow office policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations
  


• Help to maintain the cleanliness of the office
  


• Other duties as assigned
  

Successful Candidates Must Have:

• Ability and interest in working a part-time schedule
  


• At least one year of experience working in a medical office environment
  


• Administrative or receptionist experience in a medical office setting preferred
  


• Experience working with electronic medical record systems
  


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  


• Exceptional customer service skills in person and over the phone
  


• Experience with Google applications
  


• Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team environment
  


• Reliable transportation
  


• Dedication to punctuality
  


• Ability to work a half day at least one Saturday a month (the clinic is open Tuesday through Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday)
